My pre-recorded guest today was Danny Bakan, a marvelous singer-songwriter whose clever songs and warm delivery was a welcome treat.  

 

There were a number of terrific new CD’s to share this week.  At the top of my list – Toby Walker’s new live CD “Just Rolled In”.  I also recommend Ken Vigil’s new project – “Woody’s Ghost”, songs inspired by Woody Guthrie’s 1941 trip to the Pacific Northwest where he wrote some of his most popular songs.  Ken found the house that Woody rented during his brief visit to the region and Ken recorded most of the CD in the home.  A real inspiring work.
