TRADITIONS playlist for December 4, 2016
On this weekâs show, I welcomed acclaimed Israeli singer-songwriter and humanitarian David Broza to the studio. David performed live in the studio and discussed the documentary and companion CD âEast Jerusalem West Jerusalem,â a project that brought Israeli and Palestinian artists together in an East Jerusalem studio for eight days and nights to record with David and co-producer Steve Earle. The result was collection of songs that blend cultures and languages to celebrate collaboration and coexistence. David also discusses plans for his upcoming Town Hall concert.
(Tune in to WFDU-FMâs TRADITIONS every Sunday from 3pm to 6pm Eastern Time over WFDU-FM 89.1 in the NYC/Northern New Jersey area, or on the web at www.wfdu.fm or iHeartRadio.com.
