Let’s go Mets!! It feels good to say that again. To help celebrate my Mets winning the divisional series (and to rub just a bit of salt into the wounds of Yankee fans) I played a few of my favorite baseball songs – including the great Jeff Daniels song that Christine Lavin mentioned on Folk-DJ.

Featured CD of the week was the new one from Tom Chapin – “The Turning of the Tide”. Tom was supposed to be a guest, but a technical problem in our studio prevented me from airing the interview. (Don’t get me started… argggh!!!)

Tom’s new CD is really good – a very personal recording from Tom. Great songs about his mother, father, his late brothers Harry and James, and a beatiful song for his grandson!
