Ronny Cox was a guest on today’s show to promote his upcoming appearance at the Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club in Fair Lawn, NJ on April 5th – get your tickets at www.hurdygurdyfolk.org.     I recorded an interview with Ronny at the 2007 Northeast Regional Folk Alliance Conference where we discussed his involvement with music and acting.    I do believe this may have been the first time I’ve had a guest who was promoting an upcoming concert AND a new movie with Eddie Murphy!   

 

Anthony Da Costa dropped by the studio with Abbie Gardner.  Anthony’s new CD “Typical American Tragedy” is a powerful collection (I can’t believe a 17 year old already has recorded 6 CD’s!  I barely owned 6 LP’s when I was 17!!!).    Anthony and Abbie gave us a performance of songs that will appear on their upcoming duo CD called “Bad Nights/Better Days”.  Look out for this one!!!  Judging by the songs they shared in the studio, it looks like it will be receiving a lot of airplay.
