IAIN CAMPBELL SMITH ON TRADITIONS THIS SUNDAY!
For those of you who have not heard Iain or his incredible story, I urge you to tune in! If you have heard
Iain before, I know that you would not miss it!The Australian born singer-songwriter spent five years living and working on war-ravaged islands in the South Pacific. Working for the Australian Foreign Ministry, Iain was assigned to the region to help in the peace process and healing process as the region recovered from a bitter civil war. While there, Iain learned the native Pidgin dialect and began writing songs in both English and Pidgin that shared the experiences of the people and their struggles.
Now living in Washington DC, Iain has emerged on the folk circuit as an energetic and captivating performer, known for sharp wit and intimate connection with his audience.

The evening begins at 6:00 pm with a pot-luck dinner and the music follows at 7:00. This is a SUNDAY evening show in a warm intimate space. Opening the show will be another artist who has appeared on Traditions, Rich Deans!
