TRADITIONS playlist for March 5, 2017
My guest this week was Bev Grant, who performed live in the studio and shared selections from her new CD It’s Personal. Bev, one of the founders of the legendary NYC underground band The Human Condition, shares songs from her new CD, with songs that feature her personal side with a mix of folk, jazz, blues and more with a soul-stirring cry out for justice.
This week’s show also featured new music from Pat Wictor, John Flynn, Guy Davis, Kipyn Martin, Julie Snow, Gathering Time, Peter Mulvey and many others. So much good music being released! This is a good time for folk music.
(Tune in to WFDU-FM’s TRADITIONS every Sunday from 3pm to 6pm Eastern Time over WFDU-FM 89.1 in the NYC/Northern New Jersey area,or on the web at www.wfdu.fm or iHeartRadio.com.
The show can also be heard Saturday evenings at 6:30pm ET at www.bluesandroots.radio.com.
