TRADITIONS playlist for July 17, 2016
This week’s show featured a visit from Toby Walker, who performed live in the studio and shared selections from his new CD Mileage.
The show also paid tribute to Harry Chapin to mark the 35th anniversary of his passing on July 16, 1981.
This week’s program aired a few hours after news broke of another tragic shooting, this one in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The show began with a few songs that spoke of love and brotherhood.
(Tune in to WFDU-FM’s TRADITIONS every Sunday from 2pm to 5pm Eastern Time over WFDU-FM 89.1 in the NYC/Northern New Jersey area, or on the web at www.wfdu.fm or iHeartRadio.com. The show can also be heard Saturday evenings at 6:30pm ET at www.bluesandroots.radio.com.
