With our fund drive now a reflection in the rear view mirror, I had the opportunity to share some new recordings that I’ve received in recent weeks including John Gorka, Catie Curtis, Karan Casey, Robby Hecht and one of my favorite “new” duos – the Tattletale Saints.

Peggy Seeger will be performing in New York City at the end of the month.  She will be performing a concert at 8pm on Friday March 28, 2014 at the Second Presbyterian Church (known locally as “The Scotch Church”) at 6 W 96th St, and then on Saturday March 29th at 2pm Peggy will be hosting a workshop titled “The Image of Women in Anglo-American Traditional Son”  at Pearl Studios located at 519 8th Avenue.  Both events are sponsored by the Folk Music Society of New York (www.folkmusicny.org).  In honor of these events, I shared some of Peggy’s music during the show.
