The words innovation and bluegrass don’t always go well together. However there have been some players who choose to play music that colors outside of the usual lines. We’ll explore some recent bluegrass innovators and offer a review of the new recording “Hell on Church Street” from Punch Brothers, today’s foremost groundbreaking acoustic ensemble.
