SORM Playlist #14-16: Another Anniversary (part 1)
(airing the week starting 04-16-14)
This week we begin a two-part special on the other anniversaries from 1964. There has been so much notice the past couple of years of the 50th Anniversary of the Rolling Stones and the Beatles that I thought it would be interesting to see how many of the most influential folk and blues artists started their careers between 1963 and 1965. This week we’ll focus on the blues and its cousin jug band music.
