Pete turns 88 years old today!

What else can you say about this folk music icon? There is a new documentary about Pete, currently showing at the Tribecca Film Festival (Click here for the story). There is a movement to have Pete nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (Click here to sign the petition). Bruce Springsteen continues to milk the lessons learned from Pete and is releasing a DVD and CD from his successful “Seeger Sessions” concert tour (although mysteriously the DVD and CD have dropped the name “Seeger” from the title and they are referred to as the “Sessions Band”.)

While Pete has made some concessions to age, he is still a vibrant example of how to live life to the fullest.
