Congrats to 2011’s IBMA winners
Congratulations to all of 2011’s International Bluegrass Music Award (IBMA) winners. This years recipients include Del McCoury and George Shuffler, who were inducted into the Bluegrass Hall of Fame. Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers won Entertainers of the Year for their album Rare Bird Alert. The Gibson Brothers took home the award for Vocal Group of the Year, and won Best Album for Help My Brother. The Boxcars received the award for Instrumental Group of the Year and were given the nod as Emerging Artist of the Year. Solo vocalist awards went to Russell Moore and Dale Ann Bradley. Rob Ickes was awarded Dobro Player of the Year. Kristin Scott Benson and Ron Stewart shared the title of Banjo Player of the Year, after a tie was declared.
