Contrasts, Pt. 1: A Trip to the Tropics
Episode #18-04 | airing 01-24-18
On this week’s program, we begin a two-part feature using “contrast” as a theme. For part one, we’ll take a “Trip to the Tropics.” It’s winter here in the northeast U.S., with frigid temperature and snow. As a respite, we musically travel to the Caribbean and a warmer clime. On our journey we’ll hear some wonderful music from Taj Mahal, Toots and the Maytals, The Jolly Boys, The Amanda All-Stars with King Tubby and guitar master Joseph Spence along with many more. We’re headed south … this week on The Sing Out! Radio Magazine.
