The Falcon Ridge Folk Festival has announced the selections for this years “Falcon Ridge/Grassy Hill Emerging Artist Showcase” The following artists were chosen from 465 total applicants.

Here is the order in which they will appear on the mainstage of the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival on Friday July 25th. The showcase will begin at noon and run to 4:30pm:

This is the 17th annual Emerging Artist Showcase at Falcon Ridge. 2008 also marks the 20th anniversary of what has arguably become the East Coast’s most important festival of contemporary folk music.
