2011 JUNO Award Winners
2011’s JUNO Awards were held on March 27th in Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. This year’s ceremony marked the 40th anniversary of the awards. Neil Young was awarded the 2011 Allan Waters Humanitarian Award and Artist of the Year. CerAmony’s self-titled album won the award for Aboriginal Album of the Year. Old Man Luedecke’s My Hands Are On Fire and Other Love Songs won the Solo Award for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year. Le Vent Du Nord’s La Pard Du Feu won the Group Award for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year. Jim Byrnes‘ Everywhere West was awarded Blues Album of the Year. Élage Diouf’s Aksil won World Music Album of the Year.
