SORM Playlist #14-35: Tribute To Jean Ritchie
(airing the week starting 08-27-14)
Jean Ritchie is a musical treasure. Compass Records will shortly release Dear Jean a collection of artists performing selections from Jean’s repertoire of collected and composed tunes. That CD is the inspiration for this week’s program. I submit some of my favorite tunes and artists associated with Jean along with a few selections from the new CD and from Jean as well. Jean Ritchie is so much more than a dulcimer player as you will see.
