One of our readers sent in a note under the October Concert & Event Calendar article posted earlier this week on this site. This note reminded me of just how lucky we are in our area to have so many wonderful venues. This particular concert series is one of the best, and I want to make sure everyone has a chance to find out abou it.

Sanctuary Concerts presents an exceptional concert series with shows At the Presbyterian Church 240 Southern Boulevard, Chatham, NJ and a Sunday Night Concert series at The Watchung Arts Center, 18 Stirling Road in Watchung, NJ. The concerts are well run by an extraordinary group of volunteers, the venues are easy to get to and offer good sound and sight, and the audience is very supportive. Sanctuary Concerts is a venue that other venues should be modeling themselves after! Their spiritual guru, Scott Sheldon, has done an amazing job building this series. I will be writing more about their concerts in the future, but I want to make sure everyone who checks into this site sees their schedule:
