  1. The nice thing about the "family atmosphere" at Old Songs is that you don’t feel like you are sitting through a children’s birthday party. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but Old Songs is a very welcoming event. A group like the Arrogant Worms appeals to both young and old – without offending either. Everyone can have a good time.<BR/><BR/>Can’t wait until next year! <BR/><BR/>

  2. Ron:<BR/><BR/>Thanks for the post, and the blog! I’ve been to 15 out of 16 (couldn’t pass up 18 days in New Zealand!) and we look forward to it every year. People have different tastes. Some performers others loved have left me cold. But the beauty of this festival is that there’s so much good music it’s impossible to pick a favorite. Good pickup on that family atmosphere as well. Obnoxious

I was there myself (I’ve been to Old Songs with all or some of my family for about 15 years now), but of course no two people experience the festival quite the same way. <BR/>Actually, as I was volunteering, I missed a few things I’d have to liked to see, such as the David Munnelly Band. But I did catch them Sunday afternoon when they did an onstage jam with Jeremy
