New Lonesome River Band project in the works
Sammy Shelor, banjo player and leader of the Lonesome River Band, has given insight to the band’s newest endeavor – a 30th anniversary retrospective that will have the group recording twenty-four songs, to be released inA a series of three 8-song EPs, one for each decade of the group’s existence.
The announcement comes on the heels of Shelor winning the Steve Martin award for excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass. Can’t wait for this new material!
