Occasionally a listener of the SORM will suggest a theme for a program. Sometimes they are way too broad a subject or entirely too personal but this time the suggestion was a fine one-Blues Evangelists. The Blues has always had a holiness side. Many of the finest players were ministers and created a repertoire of both sacred and secular music. However, you do not need to be an ordained minister to be an Evangelist and many of the musicians on this program do not have divinity training. Blues Evangelists on this edition of The Sing Out!
