As previously noted, bluegrass musician Uncle Phil, aka Phil Leadbetter, is seeking help to battle Hodgkins Lymphoma. A benefit show was held at the Dumplin Family Farms RV Camp, Kodak, TN on Saturday, June 4th. The show featured distinguished performers, including J.D. Crowe and The New South, Paul Williams and the Victory Trio, The Darrell Webb Band, Larry Cordle and Lonesome Standard Time, Jimbo Whaler and Greenbrier, Matt Leadbetter, Corey Walker and friends, Beth Stevens and Edge, The Whites, Wildfire Reunion, Ken Mellons, Catoosa Canyon & John Cowan and friends. Also in attendance was Uncle Phil himself, who was apparently feeling well enough to join the festivities. Bluegrassblog.com has posted several photos from the event.
