Hailing from Bethlehem, PA, raised on pop, rock, Hip Hop, jazz and soul, Andrew McIntosh became a versatile DJ in upstate New York at Bard College, earning the tag "DJ ARM 18". For over a decade, he has taught a "Sociology of Hip Hop" at Lehigh University and Muhlenberg College. He continues to DJ community events, collect records and write Hip Hop reviews and articles while teaching Sociology at Northampton Community College's Monroe Campus in the Poconos.
